These bits worked great, for 3 holes I was able to cut the metal plate before the M5 bit snapped on the 4th holes. I even used carving oil and moved slowly to prevent this from happening. I then had to cut some M4 holes and the M4 bit snapped into the 3rd hole. They're listed as metal bits, but I don't think they're good for hard metal, based on my experience with two bits snapping into metal that quickly. I've used the M3 size slightly larger in aluminum with no problems so far. There are 10 holes on this bit so far. So they may be suitable for softer metals. Very disappointed that M5 and M4 snap so easily and I have to cut a lot more M5 holes so I have to buy another M5 threader somewhere else.
