Replacing ball joints is very difficult for the first time. They can fight you just like me. When removing the top, the receiver cup was not long enough, I had to use the one from the kit with a hole in the bottom. When installing I pushed in a few turns then removed and tapped straight, it worked. Trying hard only makes problems worse. It is highly recommended to clean and soak the assembly with hammer oil. Clean the tops of the links before using the hammer. If you're a pro don't buy this, it's for a guy for the weekend. Remember you get what you pay for but way better than the kit.
