My teenage daughter wanted a nice brush set for Christmas and when I found them I was thrilled and knew I had to have them. They seem to be of better quality than the ones I've seen at Walmart recently and at a better price. Plus, the case is an added bonus. I don't paint myself so I can't confirm the quality but the brushes seem to be of good quality and I really like the case because the brushes lie inside and can be zipped closed. Keep them clean or set them on the stand for easy access during your creative endeavors. I think the price is good value given the variety you get. I also like that there is a case so when it comes time to change brushes she still has a great way to store them.
