I'm glad I bought this

. I'm a Vine member and we can select some items and just take care of the tax burden as it counts as income. It was a Vine item but the taxes were ridiculous and it was cheaper for me to just buy it outright. I had a similar set that I bought for my Sony last year as the stand didn't work well with my center speaker. for my atmospheric environment. It was a 65 inch TV and it was supposed to be "too big" but the weight was okay and that was fine. Then a few weeks ago I upgraded to a 75 inch TV and it worked, but I wanted something with different angled legs. The old ones were angled INSIDE so the center speaker was still awkward, having to sit on legs and tilted slightly downward. Nobody could say it, but I could. Then they showed up in the Vine program and I decided it was better to buy them right away and I'm glad I did. They are much more reliable than the previous ones. I'm not a fan of silver hardware, but a little color won't fix me. But others had black hardware to blend with the legs. These are more massive, the legs are tilted OUT, so it's much easier for me to place the center speaker. Another bonus is a leg stand with two 1/2" screws to attach it to two pieces that screw into the VESA holes on the back of the TV - the top is oval so you really get the TILT here Received movement which helped me as the other had a slightly tilted TV back. On a 65" TV it didn't really matter, but on a larger 75" TV with the same tilt I could suddenly see the light from the room behind us bouncing off the top edge. With this tilt, you can adjust enough to get rid of it. I know it says "up to 70" here, and I hung 75, but I'm about 40 pounds under rated weight and that's holding it up well. There are some up/down adjustments you can make , even if you're on a huge TV like mine where the VESA mount can only be in one place (because it uses absolute top and bottom holes) but I can still open the Vesa arms on the legs move up and down to adjust a bit If you're like me and the stand that comes with your TV is just annoying or doesn't work at all where your TV sits, then this is a must have.

Pros
  • TV accessory
Cons
  • big and bulky
