These plastic plates are a complete waste of money. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice of health and household, I can say with confidence that they are not safe for heating up food and also not recyclable. The plates are flimsy and bend easily, making them difficult to hold and eat from. The only pro is that they come in a pack of 40, but even that doesn't make up for the poor quality. Bottom line: avoid purchasing this product and look for a safer and more durable alternative.
