The chestnut slicer works great!
chestnut knife works great! It is much easier and safer to cut chestnuts crosswise with this device than trying to do it with a knife! It actually works better than I could have imagined. .Helpful Tip: When slicing the chestnut, make sure to squeeze the handles all the way together so the nut cracks a bit and is completely severed. In the end, this will make it much easier to remove the nut.
