Works great so far with LQ Horsetrailer

We are very happy with this product (aside from the total lack of actual instructions) but feedback from others has cleared things up. We connected this camera to 2.4g wireless transceivers and a 7" dual TFT video monitor mounted on the back of a 34ft horse trailer - we also tow the trailer boat when we drive to the lake. Backing can be PITA to have clear, crisp video in good light colors and in the dark to see what's going on with what we're pulling. We've installed a second one in the trailer to help the horses when needed review long rides. Really nice to use with a dual monitor video monitor or a cute little remote control We mounted ours on top of the frame at the back of the trailer just above the trailer's double doors by drilling 2 holes for the camera cable/transmitter module - One goes from the camera into the trailer, mounted on a bracket outside, and one goes into the top of the lightbar housing (or your reversing lights if you want them activated/powered). We waited to fully back up everything until we switched on to see if he was giving us a view of the camera (we were sideways so had to rotate it - no way of telling which way the top view of the camera is) Rotate and tilt them for your best view, secure the cable holes and seal with silicone to prevent moisture issues. Camera yellow (video signal) goes to 2.4g SEND block yellow - power (black) wire harness, then connect camera and red transmit block together, crimp and connect to HOT (12V) which is either on when you need to see something ( for us it was the lights on top of the trailer as we needed them when the pickup was running/driving/pulling something) or a reverse light so it only comes on when that light is activated then tie your black wires together, compress and to the ground. Done and done. Nice little cameo system. No distortion or other judder issues when the engine is running or pulling. Protected not to shake. Crisp images with good colors and sharpness. A good monitor will help with adjustments, including mirroring the image to make it look how you see it when you turn your head back or look back. So far it works very well. 4 stars for not following the REAL instructions - gosh, it's hard to get even one of your lackeys at the manufacturer to write a "this cable to this cable" note.
