does what i wanted.
picks, helps my small pump not clog up easily. but the edges of the bag stick to the pump so I have to go out and get off the pump every day :-( guess I need a little wire cage to keep it away from the pump body? on the side of the bag so the top of the well can stick out , but that doesn't seem to be a problem. So stay away. String hole. Nobody decides what happens to the drain. Without the top of the fountain I guess it would just squirt through the bag? but so my hummingbird shower should be free :-)
