Review on ☕ Soulhand Pour Over Kettle: Gooseneck Design with Thermometer and Wooden Handle - Perfect for Drip Coffee and Tea Brewing - 40oz/1200ML by Andrea Sonnier

This kettle has all the details I was looking for: 1) a tall handle so you don't have to worry about it getting hot on the hob, 2) a wider base (than a traditional kettle), you can use more surface area of the stove and heat up faster and waste less heat, 3) a taller spout so water doesn't spill out when heating, 4) a thermometer marked with the optimal brewing temperature, 5) at least two large ones cups (maybe up to three), 6) and it looks beautiful! The only thing that worries me is the color. It arrived with a lot of chips in the paint around the rim which I imagine will wear away more and look worse over time. There is paint in the spout and the photo shows no residue of paint stuck to the inside of the lid (about 95% came off after first wash, will likely go away on second wash). I'm worried about paint crumbs chipping away in my water and I just hope my paper coffee filters are enough so I don't consume any of it. the metal it's screwed to - a standard Phillips head screwdriver was too long to fix, but I was able to tighten it with a screwdriver head ratchet. slightly narrower pouring angle than most other kettles. This probably won't be a problem for most people. So all in all a great design but the paint quality control really messes up the whole product a bit.
