Review on Enhance Security with Pop & Lock 🔒 PL8320 Power Tailgate Lock for Dodge Ram 2500/3500/1500 by Aquarium Lanter

I bought two of these, one for my 2001 Ram and one for my 2001 Ram brothers. My brother forgot it was locked and pulled the handle and with a little effort it opened. I've always tried not to force it, but I've always felt that once locked it wouldn't be difficult to open. It's more like blocking honest people, it may not let an honest person in, but anyone who wants to enter will have no problem bypassing this block. I also didn't get much response from tech support when I asked them for help. I called them to get a replacement wiring harness. I won't go into detail as to why I need it, but you'd think they could sell it to me. I didn't get a call back from the tech to take care of it so I emailed them and they said it was available on the website. An extension cord is available on the website but not the straps that come with the lock. After a few emails and then ignoring it, I just made the harnesses myself using a connector I got from Revain and some cables I already have. All in all I wouldn't spend any money on it.
