I hooked this up to my 2004 Chevy Silverado that came with the trailer pack. I used an extra connector cable to connect the controller to my car. That made the job very easy. I had a Chevy pigtail, but dangling wires made hooking it up a nightmare. I was able to fully hook it up to my truck, clean the wires and put the cover back on the fuse box in less than 20 minutes. I then hooked up my caravan and did a test drive. The controller has easy to read controls and it was easy to adjust the brake input. I have a long journey ahead of me in a week and if I change my mind I will let you know. ***Updated March 2012*** I've been using this app since I installed it and it works great. I'm towing a 25ft 2 axle caravan and never felt like there wasn't enough braking. I've never had the feeling of being pushed when braking. I've driven up and down cities and highways, but I've always felt safe braking my trailer.
