Enhanced Hopkins 47235 Impulse 🔌 Plug-in Brake Control for Smooth Operation Review

This is a very handy brake control. I originally wanted the dealer to install my electric braking system on my truck for my new trailer, but when they dumped the $400 extra I realized there must be a cheaper way to do it yourself. My total DIY installation cost was about $40 and took about 30 minutes to complete. Do yourself a favor and check out DIY next time you have a project like this.

I hooked this up to my 2004 Chevy Silverado that came with the trailer pack. I used an extra connector cable to connect the controller to my car. That made the job very easy. I had a Chevy pigtail, but dangling wires made hooking it up a nightmare. I was able to fully hook it up to my truck, clean the wires and put the cover back on the fuse box in less than 20 minutes.
