I need a very wide toe box despite my normal weight. As everyone said they run small and for me it's tight too. Net result and FYI although my foot size is 6 and I usually take a size 6.5-7 to get more width, I kept trying pairs until I got to a size 10 which ended up not causing toe cramps in my legs ! To compensate for the extra length and width of the heel to avoid slipping, I had to add a medium OTC insole. I still rate them a 5.0 because it's amazing (and I'm grateful) that I can find shoes that are safe to dance in! They have a very good lacing system with two sets of "holes" giving you many lacing options. The system allows the suit to be customized so I can leave the shoe wide at the toes but tighten at the ankle. I really wish they offered width but it's still a very good shoe with good cushioning.
