Excellent wonderful tool. I changed the power steering on my 86. Frame p / s block, replace the dirt. The P/S pulley is secured with an interference fit, not a bolt - there are mounting bolts behind the pulley for the bracket. The pulley should come loose - and then put back on. This tool worked great! I was confused by the instructions but then I let the engineer talk to me and the reel came loose. The pulley was 350,000 miles long. I used some penetrating oil, left it on overnight and off we went. takes muscle. take it slow I used a couple of large keys. I then used the other part of the tool to reattach it. Take it off and screw it back on. The center spindle p/s is hollow and has screw threads which are gripped by grippers and pull the pulley forward onto the shaft. Wonderful! It took me 25 minutes to sort the tool and remove the pulley. Now I could do it in 5 minutes. It took me 7 minutes to put the pulley back on. Requires gradual muscle and slow movements.
