I bought a Galaxy Note 20 ultra from a Samsung-branded outlet around the end of January 2022. After a little over a year, broken pixels started to appear on the left side of the display. The phone was never dropped and was handled with extreme care. The phone has a factory film on the screen and is in a case-book with a branded cover. The case was unusually hot when this fault was discovered, suggesting that overheating may be the root cause. Naturally, Samsung throws up its hands and claims that the service life is the time frame during which the company commits to producing spare parts for its goods, and that whatever occurred to your phone after the warranty term had expired is your responsibility. Well, I suppose that as time goes on, the display situation will only worsen. The ironic thing is that although this is not the first Samsung phone I have purchased for my wife and I, it is the most expensive and the only one to have a tin. I generally do not endorse Samsung to anyone because to my utter and total dissatisfaction with the product.
