This gift wasn't originally on my 5 year old nephew's wish list but knowing he likes dinosaurs and things that glow or shine I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be the biggest hit of the party! All 4 of my nephews and niece loved it! (age 3-6 years). Comes with batteries and the tail snaps easily. Maybe a bit loud but my nephews are usually louder :)… two months later they still play with it every day. I highly recommend it!
