Bought this (obviously) as a lip balm but ended up saving it as a skin protectant. On the trip I wore a brand new chic top that I had never worn before. Big Mistake: The fabric ended up chafing severe friction burns ("matt burns") on the undersides of both of my shoulders before I could finally change. Didn't really have access to the store to treat myself for a few days but my wife offered to try it on him. It soothed reddened skin, kept it hydrated and four days later, when I was able to put something "right" on it, it healed enough that I didn't need it. When it has done so much for cracked and irritated skin I can only imagine how great it will be for my lips!
