Review on ๐Ÿ”— Continental 4040377 OE Technology Series 4-Rib Multi-V Belt, 37.7 inches by Michael Adams

Easily replaceable AC belt

I used this product as the AC belt for a 5.3L Chevy Tahoe '07 Sized like the AC belt on a 5.3L car. Not to be confused with the main V-ribbed belt: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C34KT2/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00. First you need to remove the main strap. Then put the 3/8" nut in the AC belt tensioner, pull, remove belt and replace. A very easy project for a beginner. Our local GM dealer wanted $35 for the belt (AC Delco) and $35 for the Work.I bought a Goodyear (best belt in my opinion) for $13 with change.I have been using Goodyear Gatorbacks for a while and will continue to use these straps. These are the only straps I have used that aren't squeak.

Pros
  • Provides height and shear strength
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
