I've put thousands of feet of lumber through my bandsaw with a 3/8 blade. I chose 3/4 x 40 because I had a lot of 2" oak for one order. Chairs I've assembled other blades I've tried, worked great, never had display issues, I don't cut wood just for fun I've tried pine-oak plywood in every thickness over 1/2 inch, it struggles and wants to get stuck in my bandsaw with very little pressure
