Flawless 4k vaping; Fast Gigabit speeds; Wonderful!

I will focus my review on a few questions that I had before purchasing. For some context, I have Comcast download 200 megabits, download 10 megabits. I bought this product to create a wired connection from my NAS to the NVIDIA Shield on my TV for video streaming, as well as a wired internet connection in another room across from the house. For both applications, Wi-Fi would be a big performance hit. I only use about 30 feet of RG6 coax cable. My setup was to replace my 2-way splitter with a 4-way splitter. This caused some loss of performance, but the signal at my house is very good and comcast installed a "shim" which reduced performance, so all I had to do was remove the gasket to get the signal back to normal. I was able to verify this on the SB6183 modem's login screen. The first question I had when I bought it was how it would work with the coax cable going through the device to the modem since there is only one coax jack where my modem is. located. Works great, was pleasantly surprised. I was concerned that like a second splitter the performance would drop even more or it wouldn't work at all, but it doesn't. Works perfectly. The second question I had (answered by other reviews but I find it hard to believe) was about performance. To my amazement, they work just as well as a gigabit ethernet cable, except for a few MS delays. never mind My speed test shows 28 ms via cable and 30 ms via the MOCA adapter. The speed is almost the same. I'm talking about an identical user experience with an ethernet cable. I transferred a file from my NAS and it was gigabit speed. I can now stream 4k content from my NAS to my nvidia Shield TV; something I couldn't do before. To do this, you need a POE filter at the point where the internet enters your home to prevent it from "flowing back" through the cable into your area. Costs $10 and I already had one from previous homeowners who had a DVR system that needed it (probably because it also used MOCA). I've tested twitching and gaming through these devices and they work just as well as Ethernet. An additional delay of 2-3 ms is almost negligible. You wouldn't know it was there if the numbers didn't prove it. Much too long; don't read: Excellent, almost identical to gigabit performance. The modem can be fed through the device without loss of voltage. 1GHz splitters are fine, at least for me. Buy a POE filter.
