I have them on a Tacoma 2.4 4 cyl. 2001, which means that they are installed in every 4-cyl. Tacoma 1995-2004 There are two thick o-rings running on either side of the injector, a small one on top and a large one on the plastic cup. These cups are extremely hard to come by and usually need to be broken, so it's recommended to leave them alone. I didn't need any of the top thick O-rings either. The factory service manual says something about Tacoma using it to meet California requirements. I do not know what you are talking about.
