SUMMARY: This is a pretty good buy. Recommended for most buyers as long as you understand the limitations before purchasing. The review is a bit long but worth it. To easily use it as a MONO hands-free kit for a mobile phone. This is impressive and BLESSING. and the price is fair/a bit high considering you can buy a larger bluetooth stereo soundbar with mic for the same price. DETAILS: Made in China. It's a pretty good inexpensive hands-free Bluetooth speaker (no hands-free mode - you can't dial a number) for cellphones and laptops (essential for hands-free calls). It only has ONE speaker. This is mono. Not stereo. There is no left and right. Advantages: - Loud volume 3W. For most cellphones with poor sound quality, this is a welcome blessing and a dramatic improvement in volume over your cellphone's volume. It can be used with a mobile phone or laptop (including softphone), which is great. - You can tell when it's on (tiny blue indicator), when it's charging (red indicator), and when it's fully charged (red indicator off). - It has two pretty good (not strong) magnets that allow it to rest on your laptop. Has a clip for a car visor - Supports 2 devices (possibly more): 2 mobile phones or 1 mobile phone 1 softphone etc. Cons: - The sound is very good except for the bass but NOT super clean. The bass crackles and vibrates, which affects the sound quality and connection during a call, making it choppy, especially when used with a portable softphone. It has no battery indicator other than a beep, but Bluetooth in Windows 10 and some cell phones show the percentage of charge remaining in the battery. It has a TF card to play music. But playing MP3 files on the MONO speaker? For real? It had to be built with two 3W stereo speakers to make such a statement. - Bluetooth version - 4.2+EDR only - Battery only 500mah 3.7v. You could easily fit a 5000mah Li-ion battery. - It is very difficult to increase or decrease the volume.
