This is an update and confirmation of a positive review I posted just over two years ago shortly after purchase. I hope I didn't jinx it but there weren't any problems with the hose the whole time. My rented apartment has a tiny, somewhat shallow sink with a faucet that is too low and no hand-held showerhead. It's so small that with a few plates and cups in the sink, it was impossible to fill a glass from the tap. It was impossible to fill a pitcher or a teapot, period. This simple and inexpensive flexible hose sprayer is a *huge* improvement. Now it's a lot easier to clean the sink and I can fill pitchers straight from the tap. Considering the dwarf size of my sink, the hose is a bit long, but that doesn't matter. It also solves the problem of a crane that is too high. About 50 years ago I saw her often in Israel, where I spent part of my youth. This was before fancy plumbing fixtures were available, and you could often find faucets that were too high and splashed a lot. Even hand sprays have not made it there yet. We had almost the same syringe at home as this one. (Weird I've never seen this here in the US. Perhaps Revain and other international online retailers will open the US up to some sustainable, simple solutions that have either fallen out of favor or never appeared here before.) Back to the Present A: Installing this spray hose couldn't be easier - it just screws right onto my faucet, no Teflon tape required, and still not a drop. To choose between aerated spray or direct jet, pull down or lift the bottom of the hose. This mechanism is a bit stiff - you need both hands not to pull too hard - but it does the job. In short, cheers to the old simple solutions!
