EDIT - I just removed the front brake discs (August 2018) after they had been on the car for about a year and a half. I assume that in that time we drove the car 25,000-35,000 miles. Both had deep scratches that appeared to have formed right on the edges of all the holes drilled. My theory is that the metal is eroding around the edges of the drilled holes and then seized with the backing pad, which could result in the rotor seizing in that area. Very disappointed and very upset. The pads themselves wore unevenly with 1 being about 80% worn, 2 being about 50% worn and 1 being about 40% worn. This is not a caliper problem - the rotors have failed. I was so unhappy that these brakes failed so quickly that I replaced the brake myself. It took almost no time, all the pads are identical and cannot be misplaced - the rotors I removed were labeled Passenger/Driver and positioned correctly. Terrible product. I have been driving for almost 40 years, tried many brake pads and discs - this product is without a doubt the worst braking product I have ever bought - I have never had a brake disc failure for any reason other than - clubs. because of the shoe or because they are too thin to be rotated. _____________________________________________________________________ I bought them and a professional mechanic installed them on our 2012 RAV4. No fit issues - you just need to make sure you have the right options for your vehicle. You can search the PowerStop website by part number if necessary. I never thought Rav4 brakes were so great. Our 2015 CRV brakes are phenomenal, but we got this car new while we're used to the Rav4, so I figured the brakes might just need a bit of attention. Set them to I . . . . Fur. Almost the same braking as before. My wife doesn't notice a difference and neither do I. When I apply the brakes and keep pushing hard, they seem to stay aggressive and slow the car down just fine. I assume this will be the "Fading Resistance" part. But really, I don't think these rotors and pads are a noticeable improvement over what came with the car. And yes, they have been properly overclocked. So I'm giving them a 3 because their price wasn't bad, the refraction is at least as good as the OEM and they seem to be fade resistant. If you want to save money you could get decent pads and new rotors for a lot less than this set. I'll update this review if the breaks give me trouble. Have had them for about a month now.
