After installing the switch I realized that a door switch could be added to hold the rails up when the driver's door is opened. I added grab bars for my 5ft wife to help her get into my 2021 Jeep Rubicon but they get in the way. I think using the SPST spring switch on the driver's door should allow me to "permanently" activate the switch. (The success of this may depend on the "flip” of the switch.)
