PRO: #USB-IF CERTIFIED. Ever since my family's Pixel and Pixel XL updated to the latest OS, charging with PD Power Delivery (where the words "Fast Charge" appeared on the phone's screen while charging) didn't work if the charger wasn't USB-IF -was certified. This car charger is USB-IF certified via a Type-C connector, so it will definitely charge your Pixel or Pixel XL when plugged in. CONS: # A Pixel or Pixel XL will not charge at all via a Type-C port when something is plugged into a USB-A port. I tried charging the Pixel XL via the Type-C port and the Pixel via the USB-A port, like I'm used to when both family members are in the car. Unfortunately this charger becomes VERY incompatible when something is plugged into both ports. Sometimes only the device connected to the Type-C port charges (and not at "fast charge" speeds), sometimes only the device connected to the USB-A port charges slowly. Please note that I bought TWO of these chargers to use in different vehicles and they both have the same issue. CONCLUSION: A good charger that will "fast chargeβ your Pixel devices if you only want to use the Type-C port. If you plan on charging something else at the same time via the USB-A port, this charger may not be right for you.
