Well I was fortunate enough to get to try these out just a couple weeks after getting them. My car's battery gave out (it was a little over 4 years old so no surprise but still not fun). My brother had some cables from one of those little emergency kits but they weren't very good quality however he'd used them before and they worked so when we tried to use them to jump my car to take it into the shop and they didn't work I was very upset thinking there was something else wrong with my car since things were lighting up but it didn't do anything when I tried to start it. However, then we got my cables out (these ones being pictured) and my car started immediately. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is they don't clip on the best but they're definitely heavy duty and they work really well so thank god for that. I would've been in trouble without them.
