Review on Syncra Multi Purpose Designed Freshwater Saltwater by Nathan Hawkins

I bought this pump to replace the regular pump on my Fluval Evo 13.5. This has SIGNIFICANTLY increased the flow in my Evo and it's quiet, I can't hear it at all, in fact I even checked a few times thinking it wouldn't work but then I see the flow is strong! Installing the Evo return chamber is a bit more difficult than with a standard pump, but it can be done. As soon as I opened the packaging of this Sicce pump I was impressed, it seems to be of very high quality and not the usual plastic material. I'm attaching a picture to show the size difference between this pump and the stock Evo pump. Updated 06/03/2019. This little pump still works! I have very little maintenance, I have removed it and cleaned it several times, it is very easy to clean. I have since purchased a much larger 5.0 version for my 60 gallon cube and have been just as happy with it. Update August 13, 2019 - Still runs quiet and powerful!
