I used several of these to prep the outside handrails and railings for painting, mostly because I had them. I usually just use sandpaper for this type of work, but these buffer pads work fine even though I've worn them down. The selection seems useful and I like beats, pads and the like for a couple of tools I bought so I can get them. they are more useful, even if they are not central to the design of the instrument. Shipping took a long time as they came from China but I didn't find much use for them when I ordered them but I'm glad I did. I now use my angle grinder for a wider range of work and can order special applications that may be more durable in terms of material or other parameters.
