I bought this external drive to disassemble and put inside a PC for storing games. Games are loaded from it perfectly, the linear read speed is up to 120MB / s, the write speed is slightly less. The disk uses a tiled record, that is, SMR. Pros: Pretty quiet, capacious and cheap. There is a 15mm disk inside, mounted on rubber feet, not very tight to the case, so it should withstand light blows. Some cons: The plastic box is designed in such a way that even when it is carefully opened, most of the thin latches break off. The disk itself, although it works quietly with its heads, vibrates strongly. Lots of read errors, but they are all hardware recoverable.
