Read the reviews before buying this horn. I read them after ordering and before receiving the goods so I was really hoping I would get lucky and this is not such a bad product. Well it turns out I'm not that lucky. I tested the horn before fully installing it and it had a low tone but not loud at all. Certainly not 2 times louder than the original car horn. However, most car horns are 2 times louder than this one. So I was keen to send it back. Before doing this I decided to try this on my car with a brand new battery. It's unlikely that my Jeep's old battery was so weak that it couldn't power the horn properly, but I wanted to make sure. I got the same pathetic volume from the horn and after about 4 or 5 tests the horn failed and started making a disgusting high pitched sound. This horn was finished, there was no more low tone. What was probably less than 10 horns had already been shot. One of the most disappointing products I've ever bought. If you want the sound of a truck horn you'll have to get a compressor, tank and pipes because you won't like it.
