The fact is there is no drain plug in the kit. You can't reuse a factory fork assembly - it's a one-off design and the tabs will break off. You will need to find a BMW dealer for the required $13 drain control assembly. If you are not at the dealer this can be a problem. This fact must be stated in the product description. I lost my car for over a week due to no drain. Another note: This cooler weighs about 1/2 the weight of the original BMW unit.
