Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ CyberpowerPC Ultra Thin Monitor, IPS - Perfect for Xtreme Gaming by Eric Thompson

It has its flaws, but overall it's good. *UPDATED*

The PC is excellent for the price (got it on Black Friday for $876 pre-tax). It was a little better than I thought. And while it has its flaws, they're not exactly a deal breaker. I received this computer a little over a week ago and so far everything is working fine. TLDR: The PC is good overall and could use some minor tweaks, a new CPU cooler, a little more RAM and a little more storage. And with a NEW install of Windows 11, you don't have to worry about malware. Some of these things are easy to do, so probably someone with a lack of experience can do it, so it's not a big deal, and that's why I recommend it for those who might not know much about PCs but just want to play. with good value for money, or someone who wants to give their child a new computer or similar for Christmas. Exact specs I received: i5-11400F @ 2.6GHz with stock EVGA RTX 2060 cooler (not SC, sorry) a fan TeamGroup T-Force 1x8GB @ 3200MHz Thermaltake 600W 80+ Goldgigabyte B560 DS3H ACWD Blue SN550 NVME SSD 500GBCPU Performance: Cinebench R20: All Cores: 3900Cinebench R23: All Cores: 9969S Core: 1350 Gpu. , Ultra default): 2346 Pros: 1. It's a good PC for the circumstances we're in (chip shortage). 2. Neat cable management. The cables have been routed well, making the PC look very tidy both inside and out. The main problem I had was that the basement looked like a "rat's nest". Good overall performance. The PC performs very well, with the processor scoring 3900 in Cinebench R20 and 9969 in Cinebench R23. At some point in the future I'll be running GPU benchmarks, but as far as I know it's doing fine with the games I've run on it.4. Clean installation of Windows 11 (no third-party malware). Prepackaged companies like Dell, HP, and Lenovo contain a lot of malware that can slow down performance. A video from Gamers Nexus showed that the malware on the G5 5000 was so bad that it was consuming 30% of the GPU when idling. Good airflow. The PC features 3 intake fans on the front with a mesh design where it has many small vents just enough to bring cool air into the PC rather than shutting it down and an exhaust fan included as standard. Excellent packaging. The packaging is excellent, inside and outside the foam. This ensures that none of the components are damaged in shipping or upon delivery. Cons: 1. The PC comes with a standard Intel cooler, which is good for surfing the web, but I often find that the cooler is very noisy even if its temperature is only 40C. I would recommend replacing it with a tower cooler with a 120mm fan or something similar. I chose the Vetroo V5 cooler which is silent and performs well at 52ยฐC at maximum load2. Only 1 ram stick is included. If you're paying $1,000 or more for a computer, it should be common for it to come with 16GB (2 x 8GB), especially as 16GB is becoming the new standard. You can get a two stick kit from PNY or something, or just buy the same RAM stick as your build. Unfortunately I couldn't find the exact one as it actually comes bundled with two sticks and only CyberPowerPC places one of them.3. The model chosen for the RTX 2060. As I mentioned in the parts breakdown above, the EVGA RTX 2060 only has a single fan, and while this doesn't significantly affect performance, it can run hotter than a typical dual-fan GPU. This also causes it to get noisier as a fan has to do more work when the GPU temp hits the 60s mark. At full speed it gets quite a bit louder compared to my CPU fan. This is more of a nitpick, some others may not mind or really care, but I just thought it was something worth mentioning. Additionally, the fan can be noisy once set to MSI Afterburner, but it keeps the temperature around 70C, which is great. 4. Low memory. The PC only has 500GB of memory, and that's just the boot drive. I would recommend buying an additional 1TB hard drive or something similar. I've already done that, adding a 500GB SSD for gaming and a 750GB HDD for anything that doesn't really require high speed. It's really easy to make, so it probably won't be that big of a deal for some. In general, the computer is fine. While it would be better if only a few small changes were made, like an upgraded CPU cooler and a second stick of RAM and possibly a dual-fan GPU, there is also a dual-fan version of the card in the specs . I would recommend it to those who might not know much about computers because at least in my case the PC was really just plug and play. I'll update my review if anything happens that might be notable since it's only been a week, and maybe add GPU benchmark results at some point in the future as well.
