I used this CV puller on a 2004 Intrepid. It worked. I tried crowbars, but after a few cuts in the soft aluminum housing of the gearbox, I gave up. It took several moves to remove the CV axis. I would recommend buying an extension cord with this puller. I could use the extension. I managed without one, but later ordered one. What happens is that the hammer needs room to slide and hits the stop again. It becomes more difficult when the unit is in the fender area and the suspension elements interfere with the movement of the slide hammer. The puller should be aligned as parallel to the CV axis as possible. This gives you a straight pull, not an offset. Either way, the CV joint puller is a quality tool. It should last for many years. I would buy this again. I am not affiliated with any company. This is my opinion on this tool. Much luck.
