Review on πŸ”₯ YESWELDER Panoramic 180 View Auto Darkening Welding Helmet with Side View: True Color Optics, 4 Arc Sensor, Wide Shade Range for TIG MIG MMA Plasma Welding by Rob Bishop

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One star off for the headgear but the rest of the helmet works great.

Good large window. Very clear picture. Is there a hat? Mine was oddly bent in the box and is very light (thin). It might be ok if it lasts because it's pretty comfortable. But judging by other reviews I don't think it will last long. It's almost impossible to twist it hard enough to keep it from falling. And if you can, it will take a little work to bring it down. I like to wear a breastplate that attaches to my helmet so I don't bounce off my shirt. I ordered one that zips up but I usually glue the leather ones on but I don't think I could get enough tension on the hat to hold it up if I did. But I do have a spare hat on my wish list in case it breaks. So I'm deducting a star for the headgear, but the rest of the helmet works great. It was still a few days of welding and I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering a replacement hat. . I just can't pull it tight enough to stay awake, very frustrating. The HF headgear is less comfortable, but it holds up even with a leather studded bib. You can adjust this one and it's ok and then it starts moving down and you scroll harder and it's ok and then it starts moving down. I am so confused at this point that I expect it will break at any moment. The benefit is that the blue or red headgear only costs $20-30, which still makes this helmet cheaper than the blue or red hood. Maybe if I put the bib in the back. Balance the item and eliminate the weird melted BBs bouncing around in the hood.
