The first thing you need to do is update the app and the box through the app. I already had the app installed on my Seicane head unit but it was a very old version. After I figured out how to update both the app and the box, the connection worked correctly. There isn't much support for the app in online documentation or even forums, so it can be difficult to fix minor bugs. The connection has always worked for me, but I've never managed to program the steering wheel controls correctly. I still don't know how it works, but after playing around with the app in the advanced settings and such, the programming started accepting input. In fact, sometimes you have to fiddle with the app, the phone, and the head unit to make it work. After everything was programmed and I installed exactly what I wanted, this solution is amazing. I start the car, the app starts automatically, scans my phone and connects itself. I set play and pause on the steering wheel, I press it and off we go. It really takes your car to the next level. Most new cars don't support WiFi, so I think this is an important upgrade.
