Review on Akebono Performance ASP1001 Premium Ceramic by James Gregg

Have used Akebono products in the past with great satisfaction, everything they claim (in advertising) is true. I chose these pads to complete the Genesis Brembo Frankenstein upgrade on my 10th gen Civic. They fit perfectly, with no upholstery protrusions. Once the braking process is complete, these pads will function properly. No dust, no screeching. I've ridden just under 10,000 miles on these pads now and they're only wearing out about 5% or less (0.987mm). *Yes, I measured it with a digital caliper.*😳🤦 However, I mostly use them outdoors, sometimes autocrossing at weekends (4); So I can't comment on hardcore track abuse. They worked as expected and didn't fail/disappear for my needs. TL; DR: These pads are perfect for 2015 Hyundai Genesis Front Brembo calipers in street/autocross conditions.
