I bought several of them. I have a 14 year old golden retriever mix and I have slippery slick floors. Not a very good combination. My Murray's legs kept slipping out from under him as he couldn't find a footing. He also had nothing to hold onto to get back up. I've started lining my floors with these rugs and they work great. This is for practical purposes, of course, and not for looks, although they won't stand out too much on darker hardwood floors. I know they will have many alternative uses in the future. At the moment they are the perfect solution to Murray's clutch problem. As an added bonus, if there are any spills or accidents I just take them outside and hose them down. They also fold easily for long-distance transport, allowing Murray and I to travel together for traction anywhere.
