My son bought his 2021 SSR 125 in April this year. Was working great until a few weeks ago. It wouldn't have made it through a steady idel and hard swamp at around 27 mph. We spent about an hour cleaning the carburetor and both injectors, thinking it was a blockage, but it wasn't. So rather than spend more time fixing carburetor issues, we decided to order the NBBI as a replacement. We bolted the NBBI to the bike and it caught fire! My son was driving it and said it got stuck at about 30mph. We read the instructions that came with it and decided to change the main jet from the 110 to the 112 that came with it. We also reset the air mixture screw and turned it 1 1/2 turns. This main jet change and air mix adjustment made a huge difference! Woke up this SSR 125 UP! Throttle response is insane and top speed is now 60mph! We recommend the NBBI carburetor! Also, don't forget to get a bolt-on adapter and a 48mm air filter. Make sure the air cleaner is attached to the carburetor when making injector and air mixture adjustments.
