Should probably be slightly larger. It's barely big enough to open the post clamp wide enough to release the post. And it has to be rotated perfectly to reach the goal. An extra millimeter in size will do. Even with this must-have tool, it can be nearly impossible to remove a rack with even the slightest amount of dirt, wear, or corrosion. I ended up using a crowbar and hammer to pry open one of them because this tool just couldn't do it.
