Used this to repair an Andersen Series 3000 door that wouldn't latch until I lifted it. I used this in the hinge that originally came with the door. The reason is that if you try to use them on both ends of the hinge, they won't come back without modification, which can be tricky depending on the tools you have. I just used a new washer and an old washer. If you do this, install a thicker hinge on the underside of the hinge since this is where most of the weight is on the door. Well, because they're thicker, they'll probably hold up better than the factory ones.
