Received this modem today. I ordered it less than two days ago and here it is. My compliments to Revain for this really fast delivery. Okay, now let's get to the details. This modem is definitely worth its price. This increased my speed and after tweaking everything worked great. I even use a VOIP phone system (Magic Jack) and it really seems to make a difference. Now for the cons. This modem came with a firmware made in 2010 so it worked fine. I've read reports on this forum that the 2009 firmware was causing a lot of connection issues, but as I said the current firmware works fine after being tweaked. The modem is not "plug and play" like Comcast told me, but you will need to call Comcast and give them the MAC address and serial number of the modem. You then remove your old modem and bring it online. This presented a problem for me because when I don't have internet access my VOIP phones don't work. So I tried calling Comcast on my cell phone and was delayed by almost half an hour. I finally decided to unplug my new modem and plug back in my old modem. I was then able to call Comcast using my VOIP Magic Jack, but still had to wait quite a while before I was finally able to speak to a representative. At least I didn't waste a minute on my phone. The rep had to transfer me to another rep who put my mac address and modem serial numbers into their system so I unplugged my old modem and plugged the WMB760A back in, let it boot up and all the LEDs are green and everything always works still good. including my two Magic Jack phones. You'll probably need to go to your ISP and deal with this. Ultimately though, this modem (WBM760A) is definitely worth the price I paid and Revain had a special offer. If you bought this modem then they were offering a TP-Link router for only $22 and some spare change so I bought both items. ***** No problems so far *****
