My 11 year old Garmin has finally given up. He kept losing satellite reception. Especially bad when I was in an area where I had no idea where I was. I chose Garmin again because it was great until it wore out. The new one takes some getting used to. Navigation requires more information. With the old one, I simply entered the address and off we went. This one keeps asking me to enter my country and state and initially always finds me in Miami, Florida, not Los Angeles. I need to type in that I'm in Los Angeles, California and I should be writing "California" not "California". to find the address. Otherwise he's looking for an address in Miami. The screen is bright and clear. The voice is clear. Directions are accurate once it runs. Maybe after using it more from Los Angeles, California. He will remember where I am. I will mainly use it outside of the city with a rental car. Switching statuses can be a nightmare. At least I hope I don't have to type all the time in the US. Otherwise it's great. It takes a little patience.
