Bought for my three hermit crabs. They really like it. This keeps the tank wet. When I put my hand in it, it looks like Hawaii. It's cold where I am right now, so naturally they stick to the glass where I put it. When I got these guys I bought a small heater from the pet store, but that's nothing compared to the heat it puts out. I sent the first heater back and am very happy with it. No problems with glue, no problems with insufficient heat. Just overall very happy with the product.
