I have had a rigid gooseneck hitch and fifth wheels on my truck since I bought it a few years ago. My biggest problem was that the gooseneck kept getting in the way when transporting other things like household appliances. I could have spent $300-$400 on a flipball, but that was out of my budget and would also require a significant amount of labor to install. When I saw one of these it immediately became a must have so I made several purchases. Revain had a great price ranging from $125-$130 while other places were charging up to $200 for the same item! It's great for what I need and I have space in the back of my truck for everything I need to haul. The reason I'm deducting 1 star is because the "ears" that fit into the fifth wheel rails were a bit off. . I had to take a grinder and carefully enlarge a few grooves to make this block fit. The good news is that it now fits and is snug enough not to rattle when riding. The cut outs for the safety chains are also good so you don't have to drill any more holes in the bed of your truck.
