Have towed a trailer several times since purchase. .

Towed a trailer many times since purchase. The alignment of the mounting tabs was wrong and I had to make small adjustments. Deviates only partially, but may deviate from the true orientation due to the welding process on the device. Doesn't change the rules of the game and works well.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Bad craft. Requires adjustment to fit. Not easy to install and use.

Don't buy unless you're willing to pull out some files and a hand grinder. Absolutely terrible craftsmanship and a super aggravating setup. All 4 rod receivers were indirect in multiple directions. The Pro Series has ZERO quality control. Don't expect to be fit because you won't be.

Otherwise it came as described and works great!

The only complaint was that one of the tabs that go into the bed rails to insert the pins was welded at an angle. This made it a booger to actually mount it for the first time. Used the T-post driver to hammer it in, making this hitch a one-time install (not available soon). I assume this is a manufacturing error. Otherwise it came as described and works great!

Works great - couplers

I bought a 'used' swan neck coupler which had some cosmetic damage nothing to worry about and it fitted perfectly. I had to stomp my foot to get him in. That made it nice and snug, which I like because it means no "rattling" from the truck bed. The only issue I have with the whole setup is the pins. They didn't fit, I had to hit them with a hammer. This was because the holes didn't line up exactly with the slots in my existing rails. I don't know if the rails were slightly misaligned or if the…

Strong Gooseneck Hitch

I had to tow a gooseneck trailer with my pickup that has fifth wheel rails. This product is perfect for that and looks very heavy. I had to loosen and retighten the rear rail for this adapter to easily install (I think the problem is a small issue with the mounting lugs on my fifth wheel as I had to go through the same process when I first bought it.) in the new position both clutch discs are easy to assemble. Since I have a short bed truck (and use a sliding hitch on the fifth wheel) I was…

Well built, saves space in the bed of your truck.

I have had a rigid gooseneck hitch and fifth wheels on my truck since I bought it a few years ago. My biggest problem was that the gooseneck kept getting in the way when transporting other things like household appliances. I could have spent $300-$400 on a flipball, but that was out of my budget and would also require a significant amount of labor to install. When I saw one of these it immediately became a must have so I made several purchases. Revain had a great price ranging from $125-$130…

Good quality, a little high!

The fifth wheel I bought online had to be bought by a certain date or I would have to pay for storage (high daily charge). But I was determined to pull anything but a gooseneck trailer. So I started shopping on my favorite AMAZON site! and found this gooseneck receiver which they said would fit my existing fifth wheel rails at a great price so i ordered it in time to get free shipping and get my new trailer. That's when the problems started, not with the product, but with Amazon's shipping…
