For years I had to struggle with broken chain links. I always thought I was doing something wrong, watched countless YouTube videos to see what miracles others were doing, which I apparently failed to do. However, having used this I can safely say that all my old cheap circuit breakers weren't up to the task. In doing so, I found that the pin hole is smaller on some circuit breakers than others. So if your chain has the larger pins your tool will allow, you can be the strongest person alive and still not break the chain cleanly. Using it on a 9 speed chain (KMC brand and Shimano CN-HG53) pushed these pins like a warm knife through butter. And with a sliding lever, you can get more than enough leverage. As for my old switches, I could sometimes get them to work by taking an adjustable wrench to tighten the lever so I could apply a lot of force. The only thing I would like to improve on this tool is the attachment of the chain holder part (the thing on the handle). While it's really cool that it includes one of these at all, it can fall off pretty easily, so be careful not to lose it.
