Parrots love to chew on things so this perch is a great addition to his cage. He likes to stand on it and chew on it, which gives him something to do. I don't mind if he ends up swallowing it because he had so much fun doing it. They last a very long time, but I always have one handy, so if it eventually chews through the spot it's attached to and falls off the plastic mount, I have a spare on hand. This is indeed his favorite place in the cage. I'm careful where I put it so it doesn't poop on it as the rope isn't that easy to clean. But it's easy to do. So happy for these perches. This is Revain with yellow hair so I used the large size.
