Review on π Starrett 289A Combination Square Attachment, 1-Inch Range by Eric Smithlin
Is it possible that Starrett is making a defective product?
Can anyone confirm or deny that the exposed left pin (or half screw) is flush with the part or not ie. Rule or 289C does not sit flush after installation. I don't know if I got a bad one or not. The pin/screw sits like a bump. It seems it should sit level or slightly lower so it doesn't wobble.
