
I think the description should better explain what size and type of oil seal this tool is designed for. That didn't work for me. Maybe I used the tool wrong. It didn't move my gasket, which is about 3" in diameter, about 1/2" thick, and has a shank diameter of about 2". I dropped that tool and instead resorted to lots of sheet metal screws and a cat's paw and very slowly unsnapped the seal. I'm not sure yet if the tool hit my shank, but I know the screws didn't. A few positive notes: The tool looks well made and hasn't broken. For a proper seal, this will likely work just fine.
